Started in 2018, the company owes its roots to when founder Daniel Budai, fresh out of college and dabbling in his love for copywriting, spotted gaps in the aggressive and cold nature of client acquisition and decided it needed fixing through a humane, holistic and yet growth-focussed approach.
Starting with an email marketing focus, over the last 5 years, Budai Media has worked with 200 odd ecommerce stores, helping them unleash never-before revenues, an expanding Customer Lifetime Value and charted them to a path of consistent, stable, and upward growth.

Daniel, who studied Geology in college and found that his true passion lay in copywriting, marketing and sales, dabbled in many gigs and freelance opportunities. Eventually, Daniel’s interest, skills and business acumen manifested in eventually creating at just 26 years of age, Budai Media, this ecommerce marketing agency. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys cycling, working out, traveling, and coffee.
Tamas, a Hungarian native, transitioned from luxury hotels to online marketing. With 13+ years of SEM experience, he’s managed Google Ads campaigns for clients from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, overseeing over $10M in ad spend.
Csaba has a strong educational background in economics, management, finance, and controlling. His expertise lies in business analytics and automated reporting solutions. A lifelong learner, he is passionate about staying ahead in his field while exploring new opportunities for growth. Outside of work, Csaba enjoys playing football, cycling, and immersing himself in the arts.
Kushan has 6 years of digital marketing experience. He specializes in Retention Marketing, eCommerce Operations, and Paid Media. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, music, puzzles, and skydiving.
Shivraj leads lead generation at Budai Media. With 4 years in financial services, he transitioned to digital marketing, thriving in growth and innovation. Outside work, he enjoys artistic projects, sports, and hiking.
Evangelos has 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in eCommerce projects. Previously, he spent 15 years bartending on Greek islands, gaining fluency in four languages. He holds an IELTS score of 8/9 and enjoys exploring new cultures.
Lhelanie is a graphic designer from the Philippines who stepped out of her comfort zone to pursue an independent career. With experience working internationally, she’s honed her skills across industries, creating designs that resonate across cultures. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dogs.

Known for her inventive style, her work centers around three core values: creating structure, elevating visuals, and fostering connection. From brand identities to interactive media, Raine’s designs are purposeful, blending thoughtful aesthetics with strategic impact to leave lasting impressions. Her dedication and adaptability make her a valuable asset for projects seeking a polished, memorable presence.
Seba is the editor behind all podcast episodes and YouTube videos. With expertise in Premiere Pro and Cubase, he ensures each piece of content is engaging and polished.
Nick is a UK graduate in French from the University of Bristol, now living in the French Caribbean. With over 15 years of experience as a journalist, editor, and copywriter, he has worked with leading UK publishers and agencies before going freelance.
Anushree Arora is an experienced writer and ecommerce content strategist. After running her own eCommerce store for three years, she joined Budai Media where she crafts emails and SMS campaigns for eCommerce clients and contributes to the agency’s content, including blogs, YouTube descriptions, and newsletters. Outside of writing, she loves aerial yoga, scuba diving, and reading.
Karolina Pavlović is a dedicated Klaviyo expert with over four years of experience in digital marketing. At Budai Media, Karolina specializes in setting up and managing email marketing flows, conducting split tests, and optimizing website popups to enhance customer engagement.
